Just wondering if any of you guys have one of these pmII 5-25x56 scopes?
How do you like them? could you give comparrisons with nightforce or leupold mark 4?
Thanks

Hands down best scopes on the market! Blow NF and leupold out of the water! After buying my first one a few years ago iv refused to buy anything else since!

Down side- you ruin yourself for any other scope

S&B are fantastic scopes, Wolverine (above) carries them in Canada.

However, once you enter that price range and class of scope, other makes can/should be considered.

Premier (PGW), March (Spartan Percision), US Optics (One Shot Tactical) and Hendsoldt (Tactical Imports) are all considered to be in the same class of optic.

I own two NF scopes, but after looking through S&B, Hendsoldt and Premier scopes, I know that one day (when I gather enough 'Toy' funds!), I will enter that class of optic, they are absolutely fantastic!

Have fun shopping.

We have installed over 1200 of these in the last 6 years or so...great optics. Available from PGWDTI as well here in Canada.

Well, NF has military contracts, too. I know S&B is top shelf stuff, but I've heard experienced guys say that they've seen more failures with S&B than with NF. I'm not sure whether to believe them or not, and I've never used a S&B myself.

We have had almost zero issues...My only complaint is that they should come with better flip up covers...Clients seem to be break the BC ones constantly...

If you can afford a S&B then your answer is obvious. The first time I used a S&B (thanks 757Fixer) was shooting 1000 yds with our .308s...I had a NF 5.5-22x56 and he had a S&B 5-25x56 PMII. I thought my NF was the sh*t, until I got behind his Bender. Wow. The ONLY example I can give you is that it was like the first time I went for rip in my friend't 997 GT3 - I FULLY understood why people spend that much on a car after that ride. Same goes for S&B after that day. Money is no object when it comes to good glass.

If anybody here tries to compare S&B to NF then I guarantee they have not shot past 600 yds. If they have, the difference is painfully obvious.

How does Leupold compare? Like a Corvette, it doesn't.

Rifles only down in the US doesn't really recommends anything but S+B. They see thousands of scope come through their doors per year and everything fails regularly other than S+B. Once you do it you won't go back.

I'm wondering what the difference is between a Premier and the S&B. Seeing as you guys sell both, can you comment on them?

Also, do you guys have a store front? ;)

I wrote a scope review a while back that included a S+B and NF. I have about 6 NF and only one S+B but I sure wish I could afford for the ratio to be reversed. S+B are the very best IMO.

I bought the Tenebraex covers from Schmidt&Bender for my scope. Beautiful fit and much stronger than the BC ones, and not that expensive either.
