Scmidt and bender 5-25x56, who has one?

If you're prepared to spend the $$ for an S&B then go for it. I don't think you will be as happy with the other scopes in and around that price range. I was there and didn't buy the S&B...which I regret.
I love my NF scopes and have had no problems or complaints over three scopes, but there is something to be said for the extra grand + as far as clarity at distance on the higher magnification especially. S&B wins there for sure..

We have had almost zero issues...My only complaint is that they should come with better flip up covers...Clients seem to be break the BC ones constantly...

yup, broke my front flip in 10 minutes. S&B are very clear optics. I like kahles as well.

I wonder how March scopes hold up (I haven't looked up any reviews yet). I contacted the company in Australia, and the owner tells me they are 100% made in Japan. Nightforce are also made in Japan, with the exception of the F1, which is US made.

Check this one out: h ttp://marchscopes.com.au/tactical-5-40-x-56-ffp.html
Also, scroll down to the very bottom of the page and look under "Tactical" - they have some crazy magnifications.

They are made by DEON Optical: h ttp://www.deon.co.jp/march/

The problem with March is they only have a 5 year NON TRANSFERABLE warranty. This would greatly affect the resale value as well.. This is unacceptable for a scope of that price in my opinion.
If they ever change this policy I will probably buy one or two.

I don't own a S&B but used then through my work. They have great optics and the front flip cover constantly breaks. I have compared them with many high end scopes and they are a little clearer hold zero pretty well. However if I was buying a scope for myself, I don't think I would spend the extra $ to get one. There are plenty of high end scopes that are a lot less money

I love my march 5-40x56. Have messed with an S&B as well, but I went with March instead. Well built and crystal clear glass. In the end I don't think you can go wrong with either.

s&b beats nf in clarity. toughness is about even. leupold no contest. march as good as s&b in every way except edge clarity through full range of magnification. the only true competitor for Schmidt and bender would be swarovski glass in a night force frame. have used them all.

Just curious about peoples opinions on how they feel Premier Reticles and US Optics compare to S&B. I own both PR and USO and was wondering about what to put on my new build, I don't like the idea of having to send my scope over seas to have it fixed if something fails.

ok, maybe I'm reading it wrong but doesn't S&B only warranty the PMII line for 2 years??
