scope cleaning

Hi all,

I have an older Bushnell Scope Chief VI 3X9 that seems to need a good cleaning. Is it worthwhile getting it cleaned and by who? Does one send it to Bushnell, take it to a camera shop(as I'm sure they clean camera lens) ?

Any idea on cost? Is it worth it? What is the scope worth?

I really like this scope because it has a flip up post(nice for the bush).

Pick up a lens pen and a micro fiber cloth from a camera shop. you cant go
wrong, they work on mine and my camera lenses....

Like already stated. Leupold makes a nice lens pen.

Like he said, I had the same question and went to a camera shop too get it cleaned, they recommended the lens pen.

I bought lens paper. New sheet each cleaning.
