I am noticing longer bells, longer scope tubes and OAL changes. Target turrets also seem to be getting a larger diameter lower profile knurlled knob on the high-end NightForce compared to the Vortex PST. Also, the Leupold VX3L-has the recess underside of rather large scope bell - believe it's discontinued. Meanwhile I saw a Leupold commercial for their "new" VX1 and VX2 line-up - they appear longer and more streamlined? Is the trend to get the Bell closer to the muzzle to avoid clearance problems or simply aesthetic?
