scope for 10/22?

i know its been asked more then once. im finding so much info on it its like im back where i started lol.
aside from an auto bolt release and a better extractor my 10/22 is stock. im looking for a reliable scope to go with it.
when i do a google search i find lots of brands but i read about them failing. don't want to over scope the gun but hoping to find one that lasts as long as it.

Two in th family. The essentially Ruger 10/22 sports a Leupold VX-2 2-7X33 and the Dlask piece by piece build has a VX-R 2-7X33 both are great grouse guns. You might prefer more magnification if your interest is in punching small holes in paper at 50yds and beyond IMO.

Like DILLIGAF's suggestion, only a 4-12x magnification range, and, adjustable objective~which I prefer on rimfires.

i found some reviews on the Sightron and have herd good things.
im not in a bug hurry to buy so i will keep a look out for other options.
that sightron is at the top of the list though. thanks.
