scope for 223

ok whats a good scope to put on a 223 cal rifle for out to 600yrds may be odd 1000yrd match would a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x40mm be any good whats a good price for one new or used

I have a similiar one on my Stevens 200 in .223. Weights a ton though.

For a scope in the Elite 4200 series price range, go with the Bushnell 6-24x50mm with target turrets and 'tactical' mildot reticle. Don't know if it has the elevation to 600 yards but worth an investigation.
