Scope for 300blk ar

I'm looking for recommendations for a scope for a 300blk ar build I'm planning. I've got most of the build planned out but I can't decide on a scope. I'm planning on a 12" barrel with pistol length gas tube and I'll be using it mainly to punch paper from 50-300m.

What is everyone running for scopes? Any experience with the Nikon p300? I don't have a set budget for it. I'd like to keep it under $500 but would spend more if necessary.

I have a Nikon P300 on my 300 Blackout. Haven't really shot it much and my range (for now) has only 100 meters. Seems to be a good scope execpt you can't change your zero too easy. It's cheap but like me, after awhile you will be looking for something better. Oh yes, Nikon has an app you can use for hold offs. Good luck!
