Scope for a 300 win mag.

I'm interested in a Remington 700 long range in 300 win mag any suggestions for a scope (under $1000) for it. How are the Vortex scopes? Also, advices for good rings and base?

at the 1k mark, look at the sightron line up, they are probably one of the most used scopes in that price range, lots of guys saying good things about them

Check out the specs on this Remy 5R in .300 win mag. .... I think my right shoulder is slightly dislocated now! hehehehe

Many people will chime in lauding the Vortex and its great warranty. Personally, I consider the Sigtron to be the superior scope and I would happily put on on any rifle of mine irrespective of calibre.

I run a weaver tactical 3-15 on one and a premier light tactical 3-15 on the other one
For hunting, I prefer the weaver for the locking turrets
The weaver fits your price range and has better glass than any other in the category
