I ordered a Camilla Mark V deluxe in 6.5 creedmoor for my misses. I think I want something in the 2 to 3 - 10 or 12x X 42 range. There seem to be lots of choices out there for scopes and the prices are all over the place.
Personally the last 5 or 6 scopes I've bought were Burris Fullfields. They are fine for me.
I have it in my head I might want something a bit better for her. I'm in eastern Canada. Any of her shots on deer will be less than 400 yards, 95% of them will likely be at 50 yards. Usually in low light conditions.
I don't want to spend much over $1000.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There’s a lot of choices in the 3-9 , 4-12 magnification hunting scopes… I settled on Leupold in that category.
I’m not a fan of the inexpensive Vortex scopes having tried a few.
The must have features for me are :
- reticle with hold over marks
- adjustable parallax / focus… preferably on the side
- 30mm tube, as that are what most of my ring set up’s are
- Good customer service / warranty ( if needed )

I settled on a Leupold VX Freedom 4-12 with 30mm tube , side parallax with the Tri- MOA reticle and 40mm objective diameter . Suited my eye sight well… I liked it enough that I purchased a second identical model as a spare.
The smaller objective diameter allows me to use shorter / low rings as well.
Take the Mrs. to look at as many scopes as possible, geographically speaking… not every scope suits every eye …lol
Good luck with the search !!
