Scope for a Mini 14

I'm thinking of buying one of the new ones for a truck gun. I can't see myself taking any shots over 200m and was wondering what some optic recommendations would be for something like this. Maybe even a red dot? Maybe a Millett 1-4 DMS?

i had a bushnell pro-point on my last mini14. worked pretty good inside 100-150 yards.

i recently bought a vortex 1.5-4x for a rimfire rifle, and im thinking of buying a second one for my 7615. maybe you should have a look at those, cost is very reasonable for the quality.
