jl, I am very suprised that KevB boosts the Elcan that much...Whenever he could go to the range WITHOUT it, he would! Usually had something different than the other guys. We get paid to use it & use it well, just some minor concerns like Sparrow said:'' from weight, bulk and zero retention in an operational tempo..'' So it is a very good piece of kit.

I will be using my newly aquired leupold 1.5 - 5 X 20mm M/RT with Illum. SPR reticle on my SPR clone this year for Service rifle.

I have the 62gr BDC turret, and the Elevation has a "zero" stop with 0.5 MOA adjustments.Also the turret is marked in yards.
