Scope for Browning Model 1885?

I have a friend who wants to scope his Browning 1885. This rifle is in 45-70 with an octagon barrel. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what scope might suit this rifle? Price limit is about $300.00.

Thanks for any suggestions.
 
your price limit rules out any scope that I would suggest, Malcolm type, or Leatherwood Optics. Modern scope would look cheesy on a 45/70.
