So starting to plan ahead for the winter. I have a Remington 700 in .308. Last year with our cold winter I was at the range several times and scope turrets were freezing up. Made it very hard to dial in longer shots and I didn't want to be popping in and out of the car or clubhouse to warm things up, let along get condensation problems with scope.

So, anyone got a bombproof cold weather scope? Open to recomendations??

My Sightron SIII's and Nightforce NXS have been perfect in the cold weather.

The Sightrons have a stiff parallax in the cold weather but I made a little fix for that.

You need russian PEM scope for winter, it not freeze like capitalist scope.

My Mark 4s never miss a beat. No lazy adjustments, no going past and coming back, no tapping turrets, no wondering, no nothing. I've had any trouble with Nightforce either but haven't taken it to the same cold extremes yet.
