Anyone got any suggestions for a scope for the Remington 700 chambered in .223?

Its used for target shooting probably wont exceed 200 yards.

Price range I don't want to exceed $250.

Id really love to spend more on a scope but I really don't have the funds for it atm and I'm not exactly a pro shooter either which is why I most likely wont be hitting anything further than 200 yards.

I was looking at some Bushnell, Leopold and a Leaper Swat classic scope.

The leaper is by far the cheapest at $139.99 and I like the adjustment knobs but I read somewhere they were trash.......

I also found this, http://www.opticsplanet.net/busel3239rif.html seems like a big price drop and a pretty good scope but I'm not jumping the gun on this one yet, what do you guys think? If its worth it I wouldn't mind going the amount over my $250 limit.

Cheap scopes aren't so cheap in the long run after you have to replace them. Buy good scopes and keep them. They will serve you well.

I use mostly Leupolds with no problems but I did have a chance to use a Vortex last week and liked it. Nice glass, good warranty. I'm going to try one out on a 22LR target gun.

If that's the case does the lower end Bushnell 3200 seem like a good pick?

The one in the original post that I linked.

Hmmm, well I cant get it from Optics planet as the tariffs from UPS might come to around $44 before plus $20 on shipping.

Can anyone suggest a good place in Canada to buy this stuff?
