Im going to scope my enfield using an ati mount.

What would you recommend for target shooting up to 200 yards and hopefully in the future...some hunting?

Thanks All!

A decent fixed low power scope, or low powered variable is generally what people recomend, but pretty much any scope that will fit should work fine. There are a lot of decent 3-9x scopes that would work well for double duty and not break the bank.

For out to 200yds at paper and hunting, a 3-9x40 would be my choice. I would go further to recommend a Bushnell 3200 model, they are a great value and work very well. 9x is a bit light for pure target work, but you don't want any more than about 3x for close in hunting.

thanks all, for target I generally need somthing better than the iron sights. I can see through them but just need more reliability

Here's my No4 Mk2 with it's new scope a Leopold VX3 3.5-10x40. The Boone&Crocket works beatiful on the 303. With the 174 gr bullet at 2399 fps I zero the rifle to shoot 2 inches high at 100 yds. It's then spot on at 150 yds and at 200 yds I use the second reticle and again it's spot on! I shot a 3moa 16shot group at 200yds not long ago.
