Scope for New .223?

I just ordered a new 223 and wanted an opinion for a scope. It is a regular barrel, not a heavy barrel. I am going to be using it for plinking and coyote hunting. I was thinking a 3-9x40 3200 Elite or 4-12x40 3200 Elite. Opinions please?

I would think either of those would be just fine. The bushnel elite series scopes are my personal favorites, excelent scopes for the money. If you are planning on doing target shooting at a wide range of distances the adjustable objective of the 4-12 might be nice, but probably isn't really necessary for plinking or coyote hunting.

Either scope would be an excellent choice.
