Scope for new .243?

Looking at Elite 3200 in 4x12 or 3x9? Which to choose?
.243 will be used for coyotes in the open and deer in the bush.

Question will I need to remove the rear sight and ramp to properly mount the scope nice and low, can the front sight stay on?

I think the 3X9 would be a better choice for deer in the busy, and would be acceptable for coyotes. As far as your rear sights needing to be removed, it would depend on the rifle. What are you shooting?

I own a 243 savage and I bought a Bushnell 6-24x40mm with mil-dot and love it. now its good for small and big game.

Go with the Elite 3200 3x9 and yes you can leave the front sight on.

Bought a .243 Savage Model 14 American Classic, put on a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40. Picked up a new scope for my 30-06 7400 bush gun, 2-7x32 Legend.
