For under $150 I suggest you look for a used scope from a maker of good repute. And if you stick to fixed power that can mean the money is going more on quality of materials and construction. E.g. a Weaver K6 (6x) isn't much more than that new, so if you can find a used one it should come within your price range.
I just noticed in the Exchange Forum, Optics for sale, there is a Weaver K6 offered by for a little more than that. The same seller is also offering a Pecar 4x scope. Pecars aren't commonly known in this part of the world, but they are good quality. And someone else is advertising a Lyman All-American 4x. Like your Enfield, these scopes are all well-built old designs that still work.
