Scope for Remington 700 Tactical .308

Hey all, I just picked up a new Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308. Any suggestions on what I should look at for a scope? I'm getting into competition shooting so will be shooting at 500-600yards.

Leupold, Nightforce, and US Optics are great options. I'd suggest something in a 6x24x50 with mildots.

Where'd you get the SPS Tactical, and what did you pay, if you don't mind my asking?

On my 700P I have the 3200 series bushnell mildot X10 power, excellent scope and excellent price

I picked it up at a dealer in Chilliwack, BC. $750Cdn. Very nice rifle, I can hardly wait to get a scope on it and get out to the range.

If you're a newbie on this I'd say 4.5-14x50 or less &/or a fix 10x
