scope for Remington 798

im getting a Remington 798 in .300 win mag soon and im looking for a half decent scope for it somehting in the $250-$300 price range....

what would you guys reccomend?

i just looked at a busnell legend 5-15 X 40mm for $200 at wal-mart
is this thing any good? i wont be shooting more than around 250 yards ever so will this do the trick? im a little tight for cash right now if i plan to buy the gun and scope sometime this year

I recommend buying a used Leupold or B&L or Bushnell 3200 on the EE. No problem in your price range.
