scope for ruger 10 22

Thinking of a Bushnell Banner Dusk and Dawn for my ruger when I get the Dlask barrel. Any comments on this scope? Wallyworld has it for $134.

I put a cheap $40 Tasco scope on my gf ruger 10/22 and it works well. I wouldn't use it for competition shooting but once you have it adjusted you'll do just fine.

As long as there is parallax adjustment get whatever is cheap and looks good to you.

If it helps I have been looking at getting an SR-22....actually probably will when the funds are available....it was suggested to me by the gun shop owner that I look at putting the following on it....

As long as there is parallax adjustment get whatever is cheap and looks good to you.

As you get better and decide what you like shooting best. Target or hunting, you can upgrade to the right type of scope then. Just get out and shoot. Have fun.

take a look at teh vortex crossfire 4-12x. it has both parallax adjustment and turrets. its around the same price as that banner.

I put on a Simmons 3x9...nothing fancy and cheap. So far so good once I got er tightened down.

X2 but make sure its tight or get better rings scope works fine for nothing fancy

I had a "good" Tasco scope on my 10/22 for a few years. I got tired of adjusting it every 20-50 rds so I took it off and put a Burris FF-II on. The improvement was to an order of magnitude. I will never use a cheapo optic again... EVER!!!

Yeah that was my experience too, it didn't last long before the windage wouldn't adjust.
