scope for Traditions

i'm going out tommorow to purchase a scope for my Traditions Pursuit Pro
break open/ 50 cal.
any advice ..........fixed power, eye releif, quick release????
kinda new to this black powder thing. any help is appreciated!

A fixed power (4 or 6X) should be all you need. Detachable would make cleaning the gun a little easier, but not really needed. A large opening @ the muzzle end will give more light to shoot at game near dusk and dawn.

check out ww.sirmailorder.com, i see they have a scope made for muzzleloaders. Around $80. Silver hunter 3.5-10. also has the range finder reticle.
