Scope Heights?

Hi,

I'm new to the PRS type shooting, my club is starting Smallbore F Class. Anyhow I have a CZ455 with a Crossfire 6x24x50 glass. I currently have it sitting on low rings. I'm changing out the bolt to a bigger one from Anarchy Outdoors and had read to get taller rings so it clears the new bolt handle. My question is what is the difference or advantage/disadvantage to a higher scope?

Im not sure what club your shooting at but if you shoot at stitsville you need to get in contact with Tony Norman or Matt Hui. Matt has a following on youtube and some really great videos. Tony was the Captain for the British marksmanship team for several years. Theyll definately put you on the correct path.Matt can be found as WOMFAT on youtube. Tony has more experience in real world shooting but both are awesome fellows. No wrong choice in either
