Scope info please

I am mounting a scope on an old bolt action 30-30. The bolt just clears the back bell of a bushnell but I would like a bit more clearance. There is little that I can do with the mounts but I was hoping that there are some scopes with a rear bell that has a smaller diameter than Bushnells.

Any suggestions and all advice accepted. Thanks

Take the unit into a shop that has a wide variety of scopes and see how they match up.
Or measure the rear bell and then go to the store and compare with this dimension?
Not sure if Googling scopes will bring up bell diameters.
