I have A cooey model 60 that I want to scope. The reciver is drilled with 4 holes for A mount on the side. Whare do I find A scope mount for this rifle or are the holes for somthing elese ? I would have idea what they would be for other then A scope. PS of you have one to sell i want it
originals are very hard to come by but you can pick one up at Cabela's (SIR) The mount is a 2 part system and costs about $50. I believe Part # s are 641202 and 640087.. the drilled holes are indeed for a side mount.

Thanks for all the info. Just got a model 60 for my son and wanted post pics. I followed what everyone recommended. I ordered the Weaver #2 Side mount base 48402. And the Weaver 1" Detachable side mount scope rings 49350.
I couldn't stand seeing the scope off center to the right.
Used a Dremel to elongate the 4 mounting holes in the base mount. Making sure to keep the step for the screws. Loosely mounted the base, mounted the rings and scope to the base. Rotated the base mount to center the scope. Removed the detachable scope mount and tigtened down the base.
I made the holes twice as long than needed but it works well. The base mount is curved for the receiver so it keeps alignment even if ur holes are sloppy.
I know its a hack job but keep in mind this rifle is for utility not a show piece. Also the poor Dremel work on the base mount is covered by the Scope ring mount.
