So I bought my first scope Barska hunt master 3x9x50

Now I need a good scope mount for my m305

Any recommendations ? I try to keep everything picatinny, (I've heard) better quality than weaver style

If you are wanting a quality mount you should start with a quality scope and I hate to say it but Barska is not a quality scope. When I was looking to buy a scope I read reviews before settling on a Bushnell Trophy XLT. Not the best out there but works well for me so far and I paid just under 200 for it. Your Barska retails for 63.27 with free shipping http://www.amazon.ca/Barska-AC10034-Huntmaster-3-9x50-Riflescope/dp/B001JJCHMA You can read some reviews at the bottom of the link.

Sadlak makes a nice mount, as well as the ARMS 18. The m14.ca mount is extremely solid as you use the rear sight pocket to mount it. This means losing your irons, however for most people it isn't a concern.

The m14 is not a easy rifle to mount a scope onto that will hold zero reliably. I would say if you want a scope on your m305 DO NOT cheap out on the mount. The rifles can be hard on scopes as well.

Ya I lost the auction on the scope so that part doesn't matter anymore. Still want a mount though

I can highly recommend the Basset Machine scope mounts. I have one on my M305, and it holds zero flawlessly. It includes the correct tool for mounting the mount (pardon the pun!) on the rifle. Try a YouTube search to see how well they work. good luck!

Sadlak makes a very good mount, easy to install on the Norinco as the Norinco is forged. Can be problematic on the Springfield as it is cast and may not be dimensionally accurate. I have one on my M305 and it is a good solid mount, I would suggest that U look at a better scope, just sayen
