Scope mount with 3/8” or .375” spread on front mounting screws?

Is that a Parker Hale Sporter? There were mounts with two holes on the front and one at the back, from Parker Hale and another outfit. The Parker Hale ones were kind of like a bow tie shape and used their rings. The other outfit was flat and had a pic rail.

I think this might be the case.
Not a Parker Hale but certainly looks like a similar mount. I think the Parker Hale was over .4” spacing on these front holes.
No holes in the bridge. I’ll have to look into the 2 piece system but tough to find any measurements so far online for these mounts.

Certain Savages are made with 0.375" C-C holes - look them up and get the scope bases for those rifles - Google suggests three suppliers who make them. if you are looking at loose bases, you probably also want to look at the receiver diameter as well - scope bases are commonly curved on their bottom to various radii - so it was common in old days to "bed" a scope base in epoxy or similar, onto the receiver top - that avoided the thing from "rocking", even though the screws were tight - if the scope base used had a larger radii than the receiver that it was installed on..

If you get a set of Parker Hale bases to fit to the rifle - pretty much ONLY Parker Hale rings will fit - although I had read that "SportsMatch" rings might work on Parker Hale bases. I never did so, myself.
Thank you for the input, been looking into the savage mounts but haven’t quite figured out which ones to try yet.

Well - Parker Hale mounts werent limited to PH rifles. It was quite common to retrofit them on sported LE's - they were easier to install and more robust than the Weaver T-01 mounts. PH mounts notwithstanding, you are pretty well required to use a one piece base, as there is very little surface area on the receiver bridge for a two piece base arrgt. Dont know if anything Savage based is gonna bear fruit.
