I bought a tasco red dot scope for my .22 rifle and stupid me forgot to see what size rigns are needed to make it fit. So my dillema is that the scope rings are not wide enough to fit on the rail. Is there an adaptor to make it fit that anyone knows of. Thanks for the help.

No the clips are part of the scope itself. I think one side might come off and I could maybe put in longer screws...I will look.

Dose your rail disconnect if you disassemble the action? may be by take the rifle apart as you would to clean it will give you access to the mounting screws (I don't see any on the top of the rail), and you will be able to swap out the rail for one that fits.:dancingbanana:

Excellent idea... I will have to take a look at the gun. But for some reason I think that it is all one piece. Thanks
