Having issues with a Savage F/TR (based on round receiver Model 12 I believe). Took it to a reputable 'smith, looking for a scope and mounting. Got a Millett LRS, the big one, in rings mounted on two blocks that look like pretty standard Weaver stuff.

After bore sighting and getting it on for 300 yards, it's quite repeatable and works but I've only got one revolution up on the turret left versus three full down - and I want to go to 1000 yards with it. I'm thinking about trying to switch the rings front for rear, and/or getting a canted mounting rail.

Any recommendations?

Sometimes; What caliber? How many inches does one revolution give you at 100ms? More info needed, but the burris rings with inserts and a canted mount may do the trick. Then again the scope may not have enough adjustment to go from 100 to 1000ms if the caliber is 308w???

I was going to recommend Burris Signature rings with a 30MOA insert but they only go up to 30mm IIRC.

A couple options would be an ADM RECON SL 20MOA one piece scope mount or the cheaper option, replace your current scope base with a 20MOA or 30MOA one.
