My scope base holes are out of line so that the scope was pointing to the right. That is why I got Burris rings and a ring set to correct that.

I have tried various combinations of the plastic rings in the Burris steel rings, but I always run to the end of the dial on my scope before it is centred.

Right now I have the +20 in the right hand side of the front ring and the - 20 in the left side.

In the rear I have the +10 on the right and the - 10 on the left side in the rings.

I put a centred scope in there and it was pointing too far to the right, so I dialed the crosshairs left and ran out of adjustment before I got centred.

What am I doing wrong?

What gun do you have? There are often problems with Savage bolt actions that some people assume is out of line screw holes in the receiver when in fact it is the barrel that has been screwed on slightly out of true eith the receiver. We almost always use windage adjustable mounts (Leupold STD mount) to solve this problem and those from othe other guns as well. Phil.

Well - You've got to have the numbers reversed between front and back. Right now it looks like your offsetting both front and back in the same direction. Not sure what the +/- means, but I think you need -10 on the right side rear.
