Scope mounting?

I'm about to put a bushnell 3200 scope on a Parker-hale safari .270 Win.
What kind of mount and rings you guys recommend?

Weaver bases and rings.
They've been putting them on those rifles for 65 yeas.

i agree. # 46 and 45. Grand Slam rings are just fine for the use.

Take it into your local gun shop and enlist some help from them to find the proper fitting ones at the lowest height possible.

Those rifles have issues with larger scope bells and clearence. Mine still sports the original weaver post 4X.

I'm with you on scopes.
I have a fixed 4x Lyman All American on a 30-06, a fixed 4x Redfield just waiting to go on something, a Texas Weaver K3 on a 44 mag rifle and a Texas Weaver K6 on my 243.
I much prefer a fixed power on such rifles, over a variable.

I would have to agree, if the only other choice were Weaver rings!
I'd go with Leupy, Burris, Redfield, ya know, the good ones!

I just got Leupold rings for a BRNO ZKK and boy are they heavy!
