Scope mounts for Browning BL.22

Hi all. I have just been given a mint BL .22 by a relative. It is a great little rifle. My problem is my eyesight. I cannot focus on the rear sight. Being more of a pistol/revolver guy, I use Varga Shooting glasses for shooting, but they are very awkward for a rifle. I purchased a Leupold Rimfire scope, and would like to mount it. My question is what mounts would be optimum for the BL .22 and the Leupold ?

Burris rings work well, they have a nice sharp dovetail, and they are steel.

I used medium on mine with a 1.75-4x32 scope.

BKL makes nice rimfire mounts. The receiver is pretty short on the BL22 so depending on the length and eye relief of your scope you might want a cantilever type mount?
