I have this sweet ultra luxe that has what may be the best sights ever to come stock on a rim fire rifle and it shoots quite well with said open sights , but,,,
In my late 40s and the Ol peepers ain't what they used to be so I picked up a Monarch 3 2-8x32 to put on top and was wondering what you use for rings with a similar sized scope on the CZ ultra luxe.?

Thanks gang

John

Leupold 11mm Ringmount Medium... the Rifleman rings are crappola... these are High Ringmounts, for the VX-2 4-12X40mm AO.

Below is a link to a spreadsheet of CZ 452/455 ring and scope combos that give sufficient clearance for the bolt which can be an issue.

I went with a weaver rail adapter that keeps my Nikon P-Rimfire well above both the bolt and front sight of my 452 Lux. One nice thing is I can remove the rail with scope and all to use the irons and when I remount it it just takes a second and is ready to go.

On my 452 Lux I use BKL 257 medium height with Sightron Big SkyII 42mm bell. The bell just clears the original sight.

I went a different route. I used an EGW rail, this gives me the option of using Weaver or Picatinny rings( easy scope swapping ) and the benefit of the extra height( I hate removing the rear irons )

Nikons tend to have a large rear ocular, though I have not seen your particular model. I have a 452 UL and used medium Burris Signature Zee rings (can be used for both 11mm and 3/8" by swapping the lower mount) with a Burris Timberline; this set-up barely fit behind the rear sight. The same set-up is currently on my sons' CZ Scout. The rear sight may be in the way so you will either remove it or go higher with your rings.

I've had great success with WARNE 722M bought off of Amazon.ca. With a 32mm obj, you might get away with MED height. (#721 maybe..?) Saw them suggested on Rimfire Central years ago, and they've been my go-to ever since. I think they look good/minimal too.

I just confirmed that I had a couple of extra pairs, because I ordered a scope this week to try on my BRNO 2E. (CZ predecessor) :)
