scope mounts?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this?
I recently purchased a 4-16X50MM TASCO scope for my Marlin 917vs
and was wondering if anyone would know what height of rings I would need to mount this.

50mm with A/O will likely require high rings.......
I don't own a 917, but if it has a standard rimfire dovetail rail, definately high rings. If it has a base, that adds a bit of height, but medium rings may still not let the scope clear the barrel.
