Scope needed

I want to get a scope for a Tikka .223.Have limited scope experience.Ultimately,I would like to hit crow see and hit (with practice)crow sized targets at 200-225yds.I am going to look used first in the EE section.What should I look for in the $200-300 range?

If your lucky you may be able to pick up a 12X Leupold in good shape for $300-$350

You'll probly want 12x or more at the top end....for economy, look at the Tasco Varmint series or similar.
