I have a new rifle and want to reposition the scope for better eye relief for me.There are some nasty cut marks in the scope down to metal with a burr.Any ideas on fixin it?or a place to send it for repair.It is a Weatherby 3x9 supreme in gloss black.

Not sure on a gloss scope but I had a matte black scope, same issue. I sprayed a little flat black paint and once dry I polished with ultra fine steel wool and oil, it was a very close match you had to really look close to tell.
