Scope question

Ok lets say I order a scope off of Cabelas Canada. Does it come with the rings to mount it on the gun or do I have to buy those too? Edit: its a Stevens 200 in .223 that I need a scope for, I'm looking at the Bushnell 3200 elite. Its my first rifle so I'm totally lost.

First off, the 3200 is a great scope for the money. You will need to buy the rings.

If it doesn't specify it comes with rings then most likely it won't.

Weaver #46 bases, if your rifle doesn't have them yet.

well i haven't got either yet there in the mail. But its a bushnell 3200 elite.

I meant what power and reticle size.

3-9 40mm I think thats what ya want to know. No clue about scopes I'm a shotgun man.

Remove the space between the w's. I'm sure you'll need the #46 bases, unless your scope tube is shorter. In that case, you would need #402 extension.

For scopes, I think most rings are 1"...I'm guessing thats what you'll need. It depends on how big the scope is....medium or high rings. Hopefully another member can push you closer.
