Scope Reccommendations

Good day all, I have just purchased a Remington 700 SPS tactical, .308, 20" barrel. I am now looking for some advice, insight and reccommendations as to a scope. I am just beginning in the area of target, long range shooting and am looking for some info on optics.

I know it is a big topic but maybe some scopes to look for and ones to stay away from...............thank you all in advance.

If you are on a budget, I'd look at Bushnell 4200 and 6500 series, Sightron III, or Vortex, for more money you can get a Leupold, at the top end are the Nightforce, Schmidt & Bender, etc. My favs. are Swarovski, but am not sure if they make target scopes.

I am a big fan and dealer of Sightron (can also offer weaver and Elites).

the SII Big Sky side focus 6.5-20 is one of my favorites.

the SIII LR line up will give you way more scope then the price suggests.

I shoot most of these scopes on my rifles both for LR plinking and F class.

Lots of options to choose from.
