Hey everyone, I'm looking to mount a scope on a Mare's Leg/92 lever action/.357 (full stock).
Things I know: longer eye relief, mostly used in dense bush so an illuminated 1-4 or 1-6 is probably more than enough. Current set up is a RDS, I just want to add a bit of range when the terrain opens up a bit ... And let's say less than $500 Canadian.
I have no real experience with quality optics (not that my budget is "quality" range), I mostly shoot pistol with irons, black rifles with red dots, and I have one of my dad's old hunting rifles with a cheap 3-9 on it. I've watched Magpul Dynamics long range shooting video and learned a lot, but I don't think I need a ffp mil dot for this application.
Any input is appreciated,
Cheers
