I have an order with Grouse Mt for the new Vortex HS LR 6-24 but there not going to be here for a while apparently. That does me no good as I need one for a hunt the second week of Oct. I'm thinking on getting a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP or maybe something like that as there hard to find. I defiantly want a reticle with at least mil-dot. Sub tensions between the dots would be great, some thing like the Horus H59. So what a great scope around the $1,000 mark??? I hear lots of talk about the Sightron scopes, how about any of there 6-24 power scopes??
It's going to be used for hunting and getting into long range as it's going on the Remington LRT 308 I've got on the way.

Both can be had for less then $1000 and also qualify for a $75 rebate.

For $1450 you can get this which is a step up.
