Scope Recommendations?

I am looking for scope recommendations for my 10/22. I would like a very low profile, light adjustable magnification scope.

I currently have a cheapie tasco 3-7x from CTC and I find that windage moves on me over a period of time... I guess you get what you pay for...

No suggestions?? All the scopes I have looked at have are rather large... is there none made for a .22 that are a low profile?
 
Nikon make two scopes that are specific to 22. They have a 3-9x40 with a BDC 150 reticle and a fixed 4x32. Both are under 200.00 Parallax is set to 50 yards on both these scopes. The BDC reticle in the 3-9x40 (bullet drop compensation) is maximized out to 150 yards.
 
I just got a Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32mm. Seems to work well on my cz 452. Nice fine cross hair, AO, small and light without the big target turrets. P&D have them.

After looking at all your suggestions I found the Nikon ProStaff II 2-7x32 at P&D. Does anyone have experience with the this? It looks to be the smallest scope that I could find.

I have a ProStaff 6320 3-9X40 BDC on mine and the glass is very good. Nice clear image and very stable. I am quite impressed for under $200.
 
IS there any reason I could not use a Burris FullField II 3-9x40 on my 22? I know its a centerfire scope but is there much difference which using it on a rimfire?

Big rifle hunting scopes have the parallax set at 100 yards, or over. At short 22 ranges, like 20 yards, the parallax is horrific.
Scopes designed for rimfire have the parallax set at 50 yards. Much, much better for a scope on a 22 rimfire.

See what kind of a group you can make at 20 or 25 yards!
 
Have a look at the Redfield Revolution in 2X7X33. P&D has the best pricing on Redfield scopes in Canada, period. I have one on my Savage .17 HMR and my Ruger 10/22. Crystal clear glass, made in the same factory as Leupold and you don't have to "search" for the reticle.
 
The Burris Timberline recommended above is as good as it gets for a compact, well made, quality scope that is reasonable priced AND has an Adjustable Objective... Plus the 4.5-14X32mm range means you don't have to compromise on the top end of the magnification range.
