Scope Ring height for Sightron SIII?

Anyone out there with the 8-32x 56 able to tell me what scope ring height you use? I will be mounting on a 20 MOA badger base for rem 700.

All depends on the person.

I had an SIII. 10x42. I used the lowest rings I could buy.

Yeah eye relief and all. I just would hate to spend 200 bucks on rings and end up having to chop my rail at the front to get clearance for my scope.

Kind of a useless question if we don't know what scope you are buying. 10-50x60 may (or may not) need higher rings than a 10x42.

My particular set up and choice is a ATRS base with Night Force medium rings. Of course brand of rings and choice of base will make your clearances a bit different. Scope is siii 8-32x56

was thinking of going with badger rings. Thanks for the pic. It seems you are pretty close with the NF medium rings there, good to know!

I have farrel high rings with the Stiller 20moa base on my 8-32x56 and it just clears the barrel. Keep in mind that the stiller base is a bit shorter than other bases out there like the farrel bases for example which are quite tall.

The scope just barely clears the barrel, millimeters of room

Exactly how I planned it, the factory scope cover still fits without touching the barrel

TPS Mediums were perfect for me with an 8-32 SIII on a 700 with a NF 20 MOA base. I don't think the lows would have fit.

How does the badger 20 moa base compare in height to the others?

I have a 20 moa warnes base and medium tps rings
my barrel is a very heavy profile, 1.300 long shank and the scope just clear the barrel. I cannot use the flip cap
