Hey guys, I have a mossberg mvp varmint and mdt chassis in 5.56 on it's way to me and I have a burris signature 8-32x44 that I'm looking to put on it. Most of my shooting will be off the bench at 100yds. What rings and height should I be looking to get for this set up?

Thanks in advance

depends on if the rifle has factory scope rails/mounting points and how high they are. i would suggest medium to high rings as your Objective on your scope is fairly large. i woudnt order anything until you set the rifle up. you can place the scope in refernce to your eye relief/position and then measure roughly the height you will need. some like the scope to be almost scraping the barrel. some like it nice and high for a good eye positioning.

Burris Zee Signature rings are the best value, with reasonable quality.
They are the ones with the plastic inserts that are 'tube friendly', and also allow optimizing your scopes elevation/windage in the middle portion of their travel.
I would get some medium and high....you can put the ones you don't use in your spares box, or sell them on the EE if you're tight for $.
