Alright, I just realized that my $15 scope rings might be the reason I lose my zero ever so often (like after every little bump)...I never got that memo 
So iv done some scope rings research and have some questions:
When possible, is the easiest way to ensure quality to always get 1913 picatinny bases and rings or can some of those brands suck too? As in, if I see picatinny on a product, is that a magic word for quality?
What are the best "budget" brands of rings? Sure I could always choose seekins, but are there 20-50 dollar options which are just as good?
If I lap cheapo rings, does that make them just as good as (or close to) as expensive rings? Does it make much difference to lap expensive rings?
