I have an issue with a two-piece set of rings and basses not lining up vertically by about 1mm. How should I best handle it? I'm thinking plastic skate or electrical tape in the bottom of the front ring should raise the front into alignment, but this may be the Bubba solution and there could be a better way.
1. Will the method above work fine?
2. What's the simplest, best way to do it? I heard you could get mounting shims, but where and who and how and are shims a good way?
