I think it could go either way. Are you looking for light rings?
Yeah. I just weighed my mdt premieres which are 3.2 ounces each so 6.4 for the pair. Looking at Steiner and even some vortex rings the manufacture websites are saying under around 3-4 ounces but do not specify whether that is the weight of a single ring or the pair.

The lightest I have found are from American precision arms (APA, available at Prophet River). Even their 34mm rings are under 2oz each. For comparison Seekins (aka Vortex PMR) are about 15% heavier. Nightforce ultralight is in the same ballpark, weight wise.
Obviously 30mm rings will be a bit lighter.
