Scope service

I'm considering 3 different brands of scopes
Bushnell
Vortex
Nikon

It seems that Vortex has one of the best service plans out there . What are your opinions on the other company warranties

Leupold is excellent they say, never had to use them, have 3 Leupolds one for 35 years.

One nice thing with the vortex, is that serive is over the counter. They just give you a new scope, they dont worry about waiting to get yours fixed. Leupold is nice too, but it takes a few weeks every time. Its a personal choice, but i like vortex.

I wish someone over in my area was selling these Vortex, i'd love to have a look through the glass.

My recent scope purchase was a Burris, which I like more than my Bushnell, but I have read so many good things about the Vortex, I am thinking I want to try one out.

Scopes

Since my post this morning there has been more chatter about Vortex scopes due in part to Archie126 and Archie1980. I think you guy's have made my decision a little easier , thanks to all

With Bushnell you are looking at 4 to 6 months wait time for any service......and the run around to boot. Not very impressed!!!!!

returned a scope to bushnell in toronto and had it replaced with a new one in two weeks.
Nikon is also located in toronto

I have a scope at Bushnell service department. Arrived there Aug.14.2009, still on hold, waiting inspection. Thank god this isnt going on one of my hunting rigs for this fall....
