Hey gun nuts, I just bought a 3X9 bushnel scope for my SR22 to try it at 200 Meters. Why not? From what I read and just guessing hold over the other day the drop seems to be around 3' ish.

So is this about 18 moa? if so, I cant adjust the scope between 100 and 200?
would I have to shim the scope to use it at 200 and just zero at 200 and reset it to use it at less?

Thanks

32" is 18 moa at 190 yards. The moa difference from 100 to 200 will depend on your zero. What is your zero?
You can zero so that the adjustment at 100 and 200 is the same.

So If I zero at around 160 do you think there would be enough travel in the scope to adjust both ways?
Probably. You can mark a 160 yard (or thereabouts, depending on your ammo) zero on your elevation turret for your long range shooting, and a different mark for your normal 50 yard zero. That might work for you.
