Scope Shades for SWFA SS 10x42 AND Bushnell Elite Tactical 10x40

Hi guys,

Been looking around and can't seem to find a scope shade for either:
- SWFA SS 10x42
- Bushnell Elite Tactical 10x40

I know SWFA don't import scopes to Canada, but I thought I would be able to find a shade that fits? Doesn't have to be made by SWFA (I just don't want a huge one).

Also, as I understand it, it's a challenge to get a scope shade on the Bushnell, but I was hoping at least 1 person had managed to find a way? I tried calling Bushnell but they were no help.

if you go there you will find a pull down menu with shade 3 and 5 for elite so something should work.

I purchased a shade that fits my 16x SS that was labelled Nikko Sterling. I saw a Nikko labelled scope in UK years ago that was obviously a rebranded SS...later I found a Nikko shade...fits fine....maybe you can order from UK rather than screwing around with US importation.

I think I may have a binocular also made by Light Optical Works ... would you know what other brands they manufacture for?

So bushnell doesn't make a scope shade that has the correct diameter. And I've realised the SWFA sunshade is going to have to come straight from them.

My search is just for any scope shade with an outer diameter of 48.5mm. I feel like someone must have managed to do this at some point.

Anyone know a place that makes sunshades by diameter and thread?
