Hey all, I'm looking for suggestions for a scope for my soon to be purchased Mark II FV. Looking for something in the $100-150 range, something effective to about 100 yards. Also, what do I need with regards to mounts/rings? Scope price range does not include the mount/rings etc. I'm buying the rifle from Shooters Choice in KW, and it would be preferable to get the scope and all the hardware from them as well, so I can have them set it up for me, since I have no idea what I'm doing. http://www.shooterschoice.com/catalogue_front.htm

Thanks all for the help n advance!

Really, it'd Best to just ask them...they'll lead you in the best direction. From my experience there, they won't rip you off.

Id say look around, anything in 3x9 will be more then plenty and 40mm is usually good and at that range any cheap optic is good. Clarity isnt much of a concern at low ranges.

Spend the extra and buy a Nikon P22. Best bang for your buck in a rimfire scope.

Really though if you are gonna be shooting at different distances a lot from 50 - 100m then I would look for something with an adjustable objective. I would also probably stay away from the cheaper scopes and increase that budget. ;)

Spending $100 more will make a big difference, and save you some headache down the road.

Nothing worse than lacking confisence in a scope.....
